Be a part of life-changing wishes

Help grant a child's wish today

A wish starts with a referral. A child living with a critical illnesses can be referred to Make-A-Wish by healthcare professionals, their family, social workers or they can even refer themselves – that’s when their Wish Journey begins.

When we know a child is eligible for a wish, they’re visited by our volunteer Wish Visitors who delve into the child’s imagination to discover their One True Wish. The captured wish is carefully handed to a team of Wishgranters who work with the child and their family to turn their wish into a life-changing reality – unique only to them.

When possible, we work with our Make-A-Wish community throughout the Wish Journey  - creating a positive impact and touching the lives of everyone involved. We’re looking to grow our Make-A-Wish Community throughout the UK to strengthen all aspects of the Wish Journey.
